Geonosian race in Swtor Credits is an insectoid race and they are often called bugs by clone troopers. They live in colonies which is very similar to real-life insect colonies. They have a hard exoskeleton that provides protection from damage and despite their looks they are very strong. Their society is considered crude and barbaric but they are very talented builders and are famous for example for building giant droid factories.

The central element of the geonosian society and the hive is the geonosian queen. These large creatures are responsible for reproduction of the hive and are capable for laying eggs approximately every 8 seconds. Some of them are quite strong leaders and are able to control not only the living geonosians but the dead too. Some queens are also able to use telepatry and mind control worms, that enable the queen to control even the enemy’s mind.
